Six pieces of driftwood for $239? When was the last time you found driftwood, which by definition is from the coast, in the Southwest, which is generally land-locked? And how do you really know it’s from the 1930’s?
And just so you don’t think I am the only one who thinks OKL is insane, check my friend Beth over at Chinoiserie Chic. She shows you how to save hundreds of dollars by making your own DIY Foo Dogs.
Well, clearly, it's driftwood that has a strong Bauhaus influence, perhaps not culled by Gropius but by one of his students under his guidance.
ReplyDeleteIt's not even very attractive. It's driftwood that would have had sand kicked in its face at the beach.
Hilarious, almost as bad as the $60 clothes pins pottery barn was selling last year!
ReplyDeleteIs it for the landlocked folks who've never been to the beach? That's sad. :(
ReplyDeletesilly, just silly. Love the header!

Oh dear Lord, what are these people thinking? I believe I have several thousand dollars worth of 2011 driftwood on my patio right now!
ReplyDeleteI'm a beach goer and love drift wood but must admit I have never found any that resembled this. Who buys this stuff????
ReplyDeleteThose OKL ladies are laughing all the way to the bank!
ReplyDeleteHugs to Connor.
OKL strikes again! LOL!!
