When I was One,
I had just begun.
When I was Two,
I was nearly new.
When I was Three
I was hardly me.
When I was Four,
I was not much more.
When I was Five,
I was just alive.
But now I am Six,
I'm as clever as clever,
So I think I'll be six now for ever and ever.

As I begin my sixth year of blogging, I’d like to thank you for reading. It means the world to me that you take the time to read Pigtown*Design and comment on it. I would love to know what you’d like to see me write about in the next year, topics you’d like to learn more about and what interests you.
Congratulations on your 6th year of inspiring and wonderful entries! All the best!
ReplyDeleteWow...thanks for all of the beautiful inspiration and Happy Anniversary!!
ReplyDeleteHi Meg - happy 6th!! I started 6 years ago too, in March. You know - that certainly makes us some of the longest-lived bloggers on here?!
ReplyDeleteI remember when many people started, when there were so few good design blogs that I followed them all!

ReplyDeleteKeep up the good work. I have learned so much about Baltimore and its environ. I especially enjoy your treasure hunts and would like to see more in 2012.
Congratulations on your blog anniversary! One of the great things about your blog is never knowing what the exact topic will be when I open your e-mail; and yet, there is a cohesiveness that makes each post a part of you and generously invites your readers to share in your world.
ReplyDeleteHi, Meg. Thanks for your blog, which I enjoy very much. As someone who grew up in Baltimore but moved away many years ago, I especially enjoy your pieces that cover the City and its architecture, history, culture, clubs, ghosts, and so forth.
ReplyDeleteBest regards and thanks again - David in Raleigh
kudos to you. although I live within spitting distance from Baltimore, my city is DC. I do go to Baltimore for museum visits and other occ. but really don't know the city at all. So, I'll just follow along as you explore your beloved city and make lists of places to visit. I'm especially interested in art events, craft fairs, funky shops and good places to eat...
ReplyDeleteHi Meg, congrats on six years and a job well done!
ReplyDeleteI love when you focus on local traditions, events and everything design. Local personalities and an occasional history lesson are always appreciated!

Yay Meg, long may you wave. Always enjoy your blogs no matter the topic, but would love to know more about:
ReplyDeleteCONNOR! with accompanying photos of him in his natural habitat. Eating a snack, preparing for a Halas visit, visiting with Halas, saying goodbye to Halas, loving his babies, organzing his babies, having a bath, listening to music, writing in his journal, etc.
Anything UK-related
Architectural visits. Why not do a blog where you visit people's homes a la Friday NYSD columns?
Chinoiserie
Cue some music, I'm playing the beginning of "Stars and Stripes Forever" while imaginary glitter confetti falls over your blog! I like the photos, the variety of topics, the links to other blogs. I like that you are passionate about your life without taking yourself too seriously. Yours is a fun blog to visit.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your sixth year of blogging! I love your easy way and the subjects you find to write about. I look forward to each and every blog you write.
ReplyDeleteI love the pictures of places and homes in the British Isles too! I have also learned a lot about the Baltimore area as well!
Congrats on six years! I just want you to continue to do that voodoo that you do.
