I was working in the kitchen and went into the living room to get something. There was a beam of sunlight shining down on Connor, lighting him in such a lovely way. It reminded me of some of the old Dutch Masters paintings with the clear light. I grabbed my camera and took a couple of shots.
This is my favourite.
This photo warms my heart. I also have a yellow lab who is getting that distinguished white face. He also has a way of finding and lounging in any ray of sunshine. Thanks for the post!
ReplyDeleteAdorable! Connor looks positively regal!
ReplyDeleteoh SO adorable!!!!
ReplyDeletethis may be a dup. comment-but since Connor deserves a shout out- HE looks positively puppish!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, pensive pooch.
ReplyDeleteIt does look like a Dutch master. Perhaps, you could have an oil painting made of that image.
ReplyDeleteHe's a very handsome boy.
He is such a handsome dog! I love it when you do a "Conner" posting, it always makes me smile. We have a Golden Retriever. I adore her, she is my ray of light on any given day!!!

ReplyDeleteNothing like captured moments.
ReplyDeleteNice capture Meg;
ReplyDeleteHard to do when getting pets to pose, sneeking up on them is the trick!
I seem to wrestle to get just the right pic of a clients pooch.

Leslie
Oh what a handsome boy ! My pups nose is turning rose too.
ReplyDeleteHow sweet! I hope you gave him a "cookie" for being so cute!
ReplyDeleteKat :)
Connor is one hug-able looking dog. That photo would make such a gorgeous painting. A few wks ago Diane Dorrans Saeks wrote a post about an artist that specialized in pets. The woman captured the beauty and soul of her subjects. I remember Diane wrote how the artist would look into the animals eyes. I love dogs, mine is my best buddy hands-down. x
ReplyDeleteConnor is quite the handsome boy in repose. All those lovely shadings are quite remarkable. Do hope he has recovered from whatever was ailing him.
