This is Amusing!

image

Today, I got an e-mail from One King’s Lane doing a satisfaction survey. As I’ve mentioned, I do like their site, generally, and have bought several things from them and have been very satisfied with their customer service.

Too bad there wasn’t a place to leave comments. I would just have had two words for them: Get Real!

  1. Too funny. I think they are generally overpriced. If I see something I like I look for it on eBay and often find it for less.

  3. Oh Meg, this is truly spot-on!! Being in the trade, I know that the original price points are ridiculous,,,my original price points start at less than their discount pricing. And who buys discounted on-line art? Never-the-less, it is a great venue and provides tons on information.

  4. Wow, I've bought a ton of things from them and always,...always find the prices to be be so much better than the manufacturers site! Of course, now they have so much competition from other sites.
Yes, I got the survey too...mostly asking for our thoughts on their start times. No, I don't really care when they start!
Service has been good; although it's FedEx that has mangled several packages...

  5. My favorite is the Tastemakers Tag Sale. Not that I object to anyone making a buck, but doesn't it SEEM that prices are sometimes marked up just to make a reduction? Of course, that is just my opinion, but that thought has come into my head more than once.

  6. To quote Marlon Brando discussing the Napoleonic Code with Vivien Leigh in A Streetcar Named Desire, "HA. I say HA HA!"

  7. Frequently, books are offered. Prices for these books are cheaper on Amazon.

  8. I have always shared your opinion of OKL, and totally agree with your response to them of "Get Real"!

  9. I totally agree! I received the same survey and I was suprised by how short it was and the fact that there was no place ot leave comments. I cannot figure out what sort of information they were trying to gatherwhen there were only about 4 questions.
I think OKL would be better served by asking more questions about prices, shipping costs, perhaps offer a rewards program, or ask for what types of sales people are looking for.

Oh well. Have a great day!
