It’s shocking to think that it’s been 13 years since Princess Diana was killed in an accident on the streets of Paris. She would have turned 49 earlier this summer if she had survived. Diana remains forever young in our minds.

Thanks for the reminder.
ReplyDeleteNice.
I remember it so well....13 years....so quickly time passes, xv.
ReplyDeleteI just watched "The Queen" this weekend and thought, "Wow, the anniversary is coming up". I still can't believe she is gone. So beautiful!
ReplyDeleteSuch a style icon and beautiful spirit-an inspiration to us all...
ReplyDeleteHow crazy that 13 years have gone by! I was living in London at the time but was spending a couple of weeks with my parents in Lisbon when this happened... I have to confess to having been a huge fan of her style (she got me addicted to Tod's shoes...) and really felt a great loss. I went back home to London a few days later and the city was not the same. It was a pretty spectacular mass mourning.
ReplyDeleteThank you for posting this, Meg!
I love the way she stays with us. She was remarkable. I continue to pray that her handsome boys got more of her tender sensitivities than their father's remoteness. RIP, our dear Diana!
ReplyDeleteOh;
ReplyDeleteI was pregnant that summah and on the couch when I was looking thru the tele.
It has been a while, but I think of her often.

Thank you for remembering. Her life was bittersweet; it is good to remember her in joyous photos.
ReplyDeleteLFG's mother and I were at the Wilburton Inn in Manchester Vermont when it hit the news. Wow, I hadn't thought about that in a long time.
