It's about 18:20 London time, and I've basically been awake since 7:30 Thursday morning. Luckily, the flight was uneventful, and I made it through Customs, unscathed. After checking into my hotel, I headed for the V&A Museum. I should have photos of that tomorrow. I also picked up a copy of India Knight's book, The Shops, which I will give away soon!
A gorgeous suzani coat for about £600.
The famous Dale Chihuly chandelier in the main hallway of the V&A.
Pieces from the extensive ironwork exhibition.
Swarovski chandelier "Swarm" by Zaha Hadid (2006).
Courtyard of the V&A.
A leaf along the road.
Christmas ornaments were everywhere, and most of the shops were already decorated. Talk later.
Oh, how I wish I were you right now. Enjoy your visit to the V&A Museum. It's a great place to learn about decorative arts. I can't wait to see the photos.
