Storms

We've been having a series of storms along the mid-Atlantic region in the past few weeks. I was picking up some things at the store last night and took this picture looking east over the middle branch of the Patapsco River in Baltimore.

It looks like the perfect subject for a painting. Wonderful!

Beautiful photograph. The range of tones in the sky and the greens is a wonderful combination. Lots of rain here too...

i live on the west coast, and you've captured in a single picture why i want to move to the east coast.

Really beautiful - you should do it up in a grey mat, gold frame, and hang it up!

Weather and geography defines us? Look at PVE's post on oysters and oyster gray days. This is a very lovely composition. And I agree with all above, you should frame this beauty.

We've been having the most incredible skies lately, but there's also been lots of rain in them.

Thanks for all of the nice comments. If the people in the car next to mine knew what I was going to do with the picture, they wouldn't have smirked at me!

We have a big storm rolling into Kansas City right now, with thunder and it is getting very dark. I love it and wish I could stay in all day and paint!
