If you’re in the US, don’t forget that Tuesday is Election Day. It doesn’t matter who you vote for, or which party you belong to, you should just get out and vote. If you don’t vote, then you don’t have any right to complain about the way things are.

Oh yes, I'm voting.
ReplyDeleteYou can put away the scary photograph!
* There's NO WAY I/WE could forget to vote~~~ (In fact, we did it EARLY, HOPING to be sure our votes were counted... and PROPERLY!).
ReplyDeleteMama always said "If you're not part of the solution, you're part of the problem, and you have NO RIGHT to complain if you sat on your ___ & didn't at least TRY to change things with YOUR ONE VOTE!"
"So there! Harumpf!!!"... (Smiles).

So true. I'm on my way to the polls as I write.
ReplyDeleteAmen...I was at the polls with my newborn this AM!
ReplyDeleteAh, but I don't need a right! If I do complain there's nothing anyone can do to stop me... mwahahahahaaaaaah!
ReplyDeletePeople forget - we also have the right NOT to vote, if we feel the choices offered up all suck.
I don't actually complain - I just pretend politicians don't exist. Life is much happier that way.
