I have been invited to a trunk show at McLain Wiesand on Thursday to meet textile and wall coverings vendors. You know that I will head straight to the textile people, as they will include Osborne & Little, Thibaut, Old World Weavers, Donghia and Zoffany, among others.
However, Schumacher won’t be there, but since my new favourite fabric is from their Spring 2010 collection, I want to show it to you here.
I can just see this on a pillow piped with hot pink rick-rack. Hmmmm… check the Etsy shop in a couple of days.
Enjoy the trunk show! Sounds like a fantastic time.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, was referred to your blog by Lissa, an interior designer in Baltimore, and I am so glad she pointed me in your direction. You have a beautiful blog and I look forward to reading future posts.
Hi Meg, I hope you have a wonderful time at the trunk show and your new favorite fabric is beautiful! I can't wait to see what you whip up!
ReplyDeleteKat :)
I love the fabric with the characters - it would make really cute valance or even uphostery fabric for a bench or queen anne type chair for the bedroom.
ReplyDeleteThose fabrics are beautiful, I can see why they are your favorite. I bet you have some new favorites after Thursday !
ReplyDeleteGreat choices! Love the gray!
ReplyDeleteMeg - You are going to need one of those bumper stickers that reads: "Whoever dies with the most fabric wins!"
ReplyDeletePretty! Love the silhouettes. Have fun at the show! Gosh, I'd rather go to a textiles show than a fashion show any day!
ReplyDeleteMeg you are now the pillow genius. Your combinations are truly beautiful!

PS I did post for April Food Day!
Oh yes...I want some too!!!
ReplyDeleteOooh, yes... the one on the left! Only I see it with aubergine trim...
ReplyDeleteI'd love to do a sitting room with that on the walls. Black and white chairs, and antique silver pitchers full of daffodils everywhere.
I think you have found your true calling. Enjoy the discovery.
