Liberty @ Target

I can’t tell you how excited I am that Target is partnering with perennial favourite, Liberty of London for a massive new collection spanning many departments. This limited-time project debuts on March 14, 2010. Click on the logo below to go to the Target & Liberty site.liberty at target1I heard about this a few months ago, but was reminded by Tracy at Comfort & Luxury who showed an amazing paisley bike that is being produced! liberty bikeThere have been some glimpses of what will be on offer, including the bike, liberty at target2a paisley piggy bank, liberty at target3bedding, lighting, dishes and china, liberty at target4 gardening accessories liberty at target5 and clothes. 

I am so excited about this!

    Hey! That's my bike! I think it might be a good thing, Meg, that we don't shop at the same Target. I can see us rolling in the aisles wrestling over mugs and teapots!

    I know this is great news! I originally became familiar with Liberty trough my son's girlfriend, a Brit. Although I am convinced I had an outfit in the print shown on the teapot and watering can growing up?

    Boy, do I hope Target is ready for the caos that is about to desend on them!!!

    Once a fabricholic, opportunity lurks to take, say a liberty shower curtain, and make it into something else altogether. Just saying...

    And just to add fuel to the fire: I find it easier in most cases to sew trims on by hand! Not waiting on the right foot, girl!

    Oh meg, do you really think it's a good idea - this worries me. Tell me it's going to be okay. You and I both have a mid Atlantic lifestyle and I don't want Liberty to lose their fabulousness. I hated what happened to John Derians stuff when target got their hands on it. I will look forward to your review of Liberty's Target collection.
