I Married Adventure Giveaway!

About a year and a half ago, I found a copy of decorators favourite book, I Married Adventure, with its cream and brown zebra-skin cover, at the Book Thing. I truly embarrassed myself by jumping up and down and hooting and hollering. It wasn't pretty.
Today, I had all sorts of plans. My sister, Bird, and her family were coming into the city for the St. Patrick's Day parade, and my mother was going to join us after mass. But the weather today is pretty bleak, 40's and drizzly. So I did some errands instead and took a huge LLBean bag full of books and magazines back to Book Thing. As I was browsing, I found a copy of I Married Adventure. This time, I was a little more subdued and just did a little internal cheer. Following that, I decided to give it away to one of you as a thank you for reading Pigtown*Design. Just post a comment here by Friday, March 20, and Connor, the Wonder Dog will pick a winner. If you don't have a blog, please leave a name (you don't need to leave an e-mail address) somewhere so if Connor picks you, I will be able to identify you by something other than Anon@11:13!

  4. I married Adventure too, more years ago than I like to remember. He carried me over the threshold, led me up the garden path, took me on wild adventures, yes,
and his shoes are still under my bed, hallelujah.

  12. Hi, I'm a newcomer to your blog and a "post virgin". Thanks to all the hoopla in blogland about this book, I've been dying to read it, and to see how it compares to my "solo adventures". I suspect it will inspire me to "step it up" a notch :). Very nice of you to do this giveaway!

  20. Free bookstore? I'm totally intrigued! Definitely plan on going back to Baltimore, so you'll have to tell me more. Am I correct in connecting it to this Book Thing of which you speak?

I'd LOVE to have some ADVENTURE in my life (and zebra print is always welcome), so please consider this my entry into the drawing? (Friday is my boifday, so I'm crossing my fingers for a gift of luck! Go Connor, go go go Connor)

  25. i wondered what you were up to when you said you stole a picture from my blog- i'm happy it went to serve a good cause! (and not even remotely displeased that said cause involves the book thing, of which you know i am insanely jealous).

but- i am disqualified from the drawing 'cuz you used my pic? i don't want it to look like a set up when connor picks me- because i want that book!

oh and connor, mona says if you pick her daddy, she'll share her treats...
