I was looking at the some random website and came across something that I really couldn’t make up my mind about.
It is a rose-scented cushion by Charlotte Stockdale for Jo Malone. Charlotte is Jo’s London style editor and the cushion is produced by Abigail*ryan, the Belfast-based homewares company. I can see this as a rose-scented sachet, but I am just not sure about wanting an entire rose-scented cushion. Would you want one?
I adore the scent of roses, but that is not a pretty pillow. I would hope the vehicle for the scent could be removed when it eventually "turns."
ReplyDeleteI have many roses in my garden, "Joy" is my signature scent, but not in this life time would I do a rose scented pillow.
ReplyDeletePart of the beauty of roses is their color and soft shadows (which this pillow lacks). I would love a pillow covered with large, colorful roses, especially deep red and white together with some green leaves nearby. But only a very faint smell!
ReplyDeleteAllergic.
ReplyDeleteToo much. I prefer to add scent in small doses with candles or sachets. Much easier to remove when someone with allergies or asthma is bothered.
ReplyDeleteDear Aunt Meggie: When I was growing up, our dogs that thought they were humans; hence, they loved sleeping on the sofa, nicely cushioned chairs, etc. This is the first time I've thought about how a scented pillow might have helped with their "doggy" smell. If the dogs didn't like the fact they smelled like roses when they jumped off the sofa, then maybe they would've have slept elsewhere other than on the upholstered furniture. -- Miss M.A.
ReplyDeleteNO + I like the smell on the bush but not on the couch + I don't care much for the pillow. xxpeggybraswelldesign.com
ReplyDeleteUh,that would be a big fat no to the scented cushion and that pillow does nothing for me.
