High Point: A Few Peeks

I still haven’t had time to edit all of my photographs, and as I said, I want to review them and then pick some overall themes. But I thought I’d share a few peeks at some things that really caught my eye.

Colour is everywhere! Greens, as dictated by Pantone earlier this year. Here in Aerin Lauder’s new collection.

Peacock blues everywhere! Here at Biltmore Furniture Collection.

Brilliant combinations. Here at C.R. Laine.

Classic Looks. Here at Lillian August.

Black and White. Here at Aerin Lauder.

Mid-Century Modern. Here at Keno Brothers.

Print and Pattern. Here at Hooker Furniture.

Exquisite detailing. Here at B. Viz.

Just a taste of things to come next week!

  1. I am so attracted to that color combination of coral and tealish blue (is that a color?) that C.R. Laine is using!

    1. I think that they're calling it Peacock blue. It's gorgeous!

  2. I am craving color and richness. Bring it on.

  3. Looks like you have wonderful photos. xxpeggybraswelldesign.com

    1. I am only posting the best... of the 1,000!

  4. Was tickled to meet you at HP! Can't wait to see more of your take on the market. Love your blog and looking forward to more!

  5. All a-tingle with excitement for next week's photos!!

P.S. I think Miz Lauder is going to do quite well with her home line.

  6. I am going to be pouring over the photographs. I can't wait. Re: The mid-century modern piece. I inherited a Chinese rosewood bureau with the same door-drawer situation, and here's the problem: when you want to pull the drawer out, the door has to be flush for it to come fully out. It can be a real headache. That said, the grain in the wood is gorgeous, and I think I would fall in love with all of the Keno Brothers pieces. Big blobs of crystal glass is very modern (Aerin Lauder) and very glam.

  7. Meg you always have the best images from High Point. I look forward to sseeing more!

PS I am having a Paris Book Giveaway!
