We’re getting the remainder of Hurricane Ida, as well as some of a nor’easter, so it’s been raining for a few days now. Yesterday, I showed you some brilliant wellies, and today, here’s a great umbrella. It’s such fun with it’s severe black top, and playful with images of cats and dogs below. It’s from Ted Baker in London.
For a great waterproof rain coat, check out my friend, Easy & Elegant Life’s waxed cotton drover’s coat from Australia. I’ve got the English equivalent, which is for fox hunting. How cute is this man?
Tomorrow, I am headed to Philadelphia with the Historic House Group, lead by the amazing JCB and with Architect Design. Should be fun, regardless of the weather.
He's adorable. Have fun.
ReplyDeleteThe Brits really do make the most wonderful umbrellas, don't they? And Wellies, of course. Have always wanted to try a waxed coat.

Thank you P-D! What a nice thing to read first thing on a sunny! Monday. I also like the umbrella that opens to reveal a Magritte-like blue sky and fluffy clouds. Museum shops used to carry them. And this issue of "The Rake" features a beautiful yellow umbrella with a chestnut handle by Rubinacci.
