One (!) of the strange things about Connor is that he likes to be wrapped up. Swaddled like a little baby. So, I call him the burrito baby. And don’t ask me how I know he likes this.
Oh my God....That has to be the cutest thing ever. And I have to say my own dogs are still my favorites, but Connor is making it very hard to compare. You just want to hug that burrito!
It's probably just like the comfort babies get from swaddling...warm, confined just enough so sudden movements don't startle him. I think this is kind of the principle behind those Thundershirts, but I may be wrong. The whole image of Connor as a burrito is just way too cute. Were I to do that w our beagleweinerdog, the off gassing would be horrendous when the blanket came off!
Oh My Gosh ! Cutest thing ever !! He looks just like my yellow lab Bo - I will have to try that with Bo, although he likes to sleep flat on his back, all splayed out - not a very pretty picture !!
That's how I dry my small dog Pumpkin when we come in from rain or snow. I wrap him up and call him my little doggie burrito. So funny you do the same with Connor.
Connor is ao adorable swaddled in his blanket. Don't you wish he could talk and tell you about his life... or maybe you don't want to know! Re: the BB quotes, my favorite is the last one... I liver by that.

ReplyDeleteJo... I wrap him up like that. He's got a bit of trouble tucking in the edges by himself!
ReplyDeleteGretchen... I think it is like the Thundershirt. Except once he's on the move when it thunders, or there are fireworks, I can't wrap him.
ReplyDeletePatricia... Splayed out on his back is his other favourite pose. That, and lying with his feet up against the wall.
ReplyDeletehe does that completely alone? Amazing! I've never seen anything like it so cute!
ReplyDeleteHAhahahahahhhhh! I would be curled up around him in my own blanket, watching old movies if I were you.
ReplyDeleteSo cute, he clearly loves it !

ReplyDeleteHe was clearly born in a Russian hospital. Connorovski?
ReplyDeleteMeg, if you pull the blanket slightly up to his head he could be Sister Mary Connor Fielding! Anyway at all he's totally cute.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute "baby." I have a friend whose dog would crawl under his blanket and then manage to wrap it around him.
ReplyDeleteAren't dogs so interesting to watch? Great entertainment though I bet they say the same about humans too.

Eeeeeeeeeeeeee! Little swaddlesnout. I'd love to jump on the couch with him
