Once again I am honoured to have been selected as one of the Sponsored Bloggers for the Annual High Point Furniture Market. This will be the fourth trip I have taken to High Point and I now feel that I am actually comfortable finding my way around the Market.
My trip is being sponsored by Hooker Furniture for the fourth time, and I am so pleased to be a part of the Hooker Furniture “family” during the Market. I am also being sponsored by Thayer Coggin Furniture, and I am looking forward to meeting them and seeing their showroom.
I have a busy schedule once I arrive…I start out at Lexington Furniture to see their new collections. Later, I meet up with William Yeoward to see his new furniture line. I already own a set of his fabulous glassware and adore his style. How fabulous is this WY pillow of a Union Jack made with mattress ticking!
Of course, there is the Scalamandre Launch party that I wouldn’t miss for the world.
I am looking forward to visiting Soicher Marin and their new collection of decoupaged items,as well as their collections of Charlotte Moss photographs and Isabelle de Borchgrave’s prints.
Cocktails at Wesley Hall, which is a perennial favourite!
Monday brings a meet-up with Earl Spencer, Princess Diana’s brother, who now has a line of furniture modeled on what is at the ancestral family home, Althorp.
In the afternoon, it’s Lillian August, which had some stunning pieces last Market.
Then on to Bernhardt,
and Century.
In between all that, it will be visiting friends like the men of Madcap Cottage, and Becky at B.Viz textiles.
And long-time favourites like Thibaut,
and of course, my sponsors, Hooker,
So next week with be High Point week here on Pigtown*Design. I hope that you’ll follow along with me!
I love your High Point visits!

Whoa, girl, I don't know how you keep it all straight! Sounds like a wonderful odyssey. Brava.
ReplyDeleteOf the pix you posted here, I especially love the logo of High Point with the woman's profile -- very elegant -- the adorable Union Jack pillow, and that brilliant green room. I've been looking for a green to paint the bedroom; I wonder if that's it . . . .
Keep it straight via smart-phone app!
