the worst part about the storm is that people who don't have power, probably won't have it for another few days, and it's bloody hot here. with hurricanes, they can bring in crews from other states because they have prior warning. this was too quick.
Meg, when you get the story on the abandoned house please let us know. It had to be beautiful in its day and I want to know why it was left like that. Empty houses have always fascinated me.

That is a *huge* number of readers, any way you measure it. I think in your case it's just that much more impressive because of the quality of your posts, it's all good content, not some slapped-together drivel. Congratulations, whoo-hoo!
