Carolyne Roehm Shuttering Shop

I got an e-mail this afternoon that Carolyne Roehm is shutting down her on-line shop, Presentations. Everything on the site, except for her books, is on sale at the wholesale price. I've already ordered some of the fabulous alligator papers in french blue and green! Click here to start shopping.

  7. Are we sure this closing is due to the economy? After all, a website is relatively inexpensive to maintain vs. a brick and mortar store. And, there have been several stories about the luxury economy moving more and more online because buyers with money (and there are still buyers with money) are currently feeling awkward about open displays of shopping, so are doing more and more online luxury shopping. Just a thought...

  8. It seems that she does her fulfillment from her farm, so that might be a factor. She's also moving on to other ventures, so that's part of it as well.

  9. Thanks for the heads up! I splurged on a a few papers and ribbons. The prices are amazing when you calculate them out: 60 cents a yard for many of the ribbons. This is also one "closing" that I don't see as particularly related to the economy. She's always got a lot of irons in the fire, including the new book, and seems like she does what she wants on her terms.
