It's not even AUGUST!!! But I was at the dollar store getting bones for the Connor pup and damn if they didn't have their Christmas crap out already. They also had a lot of their "harvest" things out. If it's the Fourth of July, can Christmas be far behind? Am I the only one who thinks that this is pushing the season a bit?

Oh for Chrissake - or not, as the case may be. Already!? Next we'll see the Easter stuff out in time for Halloween.
ReplyDeleteAll the Christmas stuff did come in handy one year, when I was a Christmas tree for Halloween. A friend who is now in New Mexico took a photo of me (she was a viejito dancer). I never got it from her. But I did win the prize that year!
I love the dollar stores! Why not capture it early they probably have so much inventory and are hoping to get rid of it! cute post!
ReplyDeleteOh I hate this!
ReplyDeleteAMEN. Hobby Lobby put all their Christmas stuff out a couple weeks ago and it's absurd. Honestly they have rows and rows of all their Christmas stuff out already but don't have anything out for fall. Not that I'm ready to decorate for Fall either, but still. It's so stupid, I can't believe it. It's JULY!
ReplyDeleteWhat ever happened to "Living in the Moment"?!?!? I'm just saying.
ReplyDeletelove it or hate it - you better buy the best ribbon now - it will be all gone by the time you are ready to carol!
ReplyDeleteAnd I thought it was bad enough here when they started in November! Even I don't think I could manage being outraged for five months - I'd certainly try though.
ReplyDeleteI hate it too! I don't do anything Christmas-y until the day after Thanksgiving.
ReplyDeleteYES! I hope they weren't playing Christmas music too!
ReplyDeleteis that your new gig?
ReplyDeleteI hate seeing this stuff too.
ReplyDeleteBut unfortunately this year I am having to plan everything early, so I guess I can't complain to much.
I Love, Love, Love Christmas...BUT this seems just a bit early...no?
ReplyDeletewhat do you expect for a dollar?
