****THIS IS THE LINK TO THE PARIS MAPS****
The links below no longer work. This is a 5+ year old post.
I've gotten a lot of requests to upload the Turgot Plan de Paris, and so I'm adding some links here. They are on a download service... drop.io. There is no expiration date on these maps, and they come in three versions, measuring about 48 by 36 inches.
For a copy of the greyish sepia map, click here for the JPG version or here for the PDF version.
For a copy of the greyscale map, click here for the JPG version or here for the PDF version
For the sepia-tone map, click here for the JPG version or here for the PDF version.
I would love to know what you've done with the map and to see pictures. Please e-mail me!

These are amazing! I have absolutely no need for them, but I can just tell they will be useful for something someday.
ReplyDeleteJust saw this- I LOVE these! AM thinking of framing the sepia tone ones for my hall stairway...
ReplyDeletePlease, can you update the link to your Paris maps? Thank you very much!
ReplyDeleteIn Paris last May, I saw a colour version of the same map. It was in a booth in an antiquarian book fair. I have posted some pictures here: http://parisianfields.wordpress.com/2012/10/14/a-virtual-walk-through-old-paris/
ReplyDeleteHave you any idea where it might have come from? That's the version I long to own!
