The parent plant was at my family's house and they kept it in an unheated, but sunny room. It would get down into the 30's, but never really froze. I keep them in a south-facing room.Pigtown*Designhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13775512940294150252noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-735719884954321988.post-17155562810341314412012-09-25T11:25:43.908-04:002012-09-25T11:25:43.908-04:00Congratulations on the babies. My husband's family, near Smithfield, VA, are just enough further south that they have hedges of them, and the blooms are beautiful.Kathyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12207864902665945997noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-735719884954321988.post-14769490567807209662012-09-25T10:39:40.449-04:002012-09-25T10:39:40.449-04:00Aren't you talented! That way, all of the plant's energy goes into growing the one pumpkin.Pigtown*Designhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13775512940294150252noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-735719884954321988.post-19142504820151615632012-09-25T09:32:54.252-04:002012-09-25T09:32:54.252-04:00AUC... I'm not sure if it needs to be done if you're making a jack o lantern. An Urban Cottagehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08666212353075804092noreply@blogger.com
