Petit Post

I was out at a fabulous event this evening and when I came home to download my pictures and write, my computer decided it was the ideal time to install some updates. Grrr.

So, here is a teaser of both the event and Thursday's post. Enjoy!

  1. Looking forward to your post which looks like it took place at Halcyon House. Very off topic, but two things: there's a brief mention of Treillage's final evening in today's NY Social Diary. And reading Country Life yesterday I thought of you and your love of hedgehogs when they said it's been a good week for the tiny darlings because "Fast food giant KFC is to change its packaging to stop hedgehogs from getting their heads stuck in milkshake cups."

    1. 1) It was at Halcyon House!
      2) There was a farewell party at Treillage last night, although the shop is open for a month or so more.
      3) Hedgehogs do have problems with cups. Apparently, they like sweets... and catfood.

  2. Wow Hedgehog heads get caught in milk shake cups. because the unintended consequences of throwing paper products out of moving vehicles results in hedge hog heads getting trapped in milkshake cups. To wit, the consumer can now heave a sigh of relief and sleep better at night and continue to throw trash out the car window because of the new and improved non hedge hog head trap design. 1. I don't recall ever seeing a KFC outside of London, so this news was a little surprising. And might I remind you, that hedgehogs are not native to the USofA
