Visitors from the North

We have some friends visiting from the North and we are delighted to see them. It looks like they brought snow along with them.

Since Connor only really loves two of his stuffies, Ellie decided she’d love them more.

I think that she loved them to death.

It’s really incredible how much stuffing is in these little stuffed animals.

But we loved seeing our friends.Regardless of who died for the cause.

Thanks Wendy and Ellie! We’re so glad you came to visit us!

  1. Dental floss is very good for sewing dog toys back together. Connor looks pretty calm about it.

  2. That looks as if they had a blast. I love it when other dogs make a mess then I don't feel so bad.

  4. There must have been a squeaker inside! Love the mess. I'm sure there must be more stuffies for Conner.

  5. Too funny. Good excuse to buy Connor new toys.

  6. Wow, good thing those things aren't stuffed with tiny foam beads like in the old bean bags.

Glad Connor and Ellie had a good time.

  7. LOL I have a little JRT and he can de-heart and gut a stuffed toy in 30 seconds. I've seen ones without stuffing...they are a favourite here!

  8. Other friends toys are always more interesting, particularly if the other friend still wants to play with them. My JRT also kills toys very quickly but he retains interest if I re-stuff them and pretend they're still interesting to me.

  10. Better the stuffies than the stuffed sofa cushions. Another of mine, I noticed yesterday, has a decided leak of feathers from a suspicious tear. grrrr.

  11. OMG do you think Ellie got hold of my down coat while she was down here? It's losing feathers. Just saying.

  12. Aw...my Baxter is a similar kind of golden (trim, deep gold/red hair). I've been told they are from field lines, which explains why they are so mouthy. :)

I'm constantly picking fuzz up off the floor, but I can't stop buying the toys. They make him so happy!

  13. Hope Connor's toys are replaced soon. Don't think he was too happy about losing his babies.
Glad you had a good visit with your friends.

  15. LOVE this! My house looks just like this whenever we have new stuffies in the house. We started getting the stuff-less kind....AND it is the first time I think I have seen your house with the furniture all in. Looks so pretty and cozy!
