Zara Home

Everyone knows that Zara does cheap and chic clothes, but do you know that they have a Home store, too? In the US, it’s just a website now, but hopefully a Zara Home store will be coming to our shores. imageI had stopped in the Zara Home shop in London, just off the King’s Road, when I was over in March. The stores are well designed and very contemporary, but with a decided European flair, reflecting their Spanish roots. imageWhen I received an e-mail from Zara home, touting up to 50% off, with free shipping, I spent some time surfing around their website, and found several things that I’ve added to my cart. (Click the image to see the link.)

I am always looking for pretty ways to organize my things, so I loved the look of this classic print Villa Box with the shot of yellow.image

At Thanksgiving dinner, we had butter bells on the table, and then we found them on Zara Home.image

I am a big fan of tea towels, and these few really caught my eye.  image

This rug, or maybe two of these rugs might be fun for my 20-foot long hallway.image

I love the vignettes Zara puts together so you can shop the look.image

The exotic look of this table would be great for a big Indian curry dinner!image

Remember, click on the images for the links, and then take a look around their site!

  6. I went to the Zara Home store in Paris. It was quite nice - spread over two floors of an old building with lovely rooms, but the product was 100% junk. Everything is sooooo incredibly cheap. The fabrics were like tissue paper and crunchy and unpleasant to the touch. The only thing I might have bought was something glass, like a little candle holder, or metal - which can still look nice even if cheap - but I could not find a single thing that was worth the price (which were not high). Best to avoid this store...I am sure some poor souls in China have made most of it.

    1. Some of the things i saw were junk and others were okay. None of this is meant to be heirloom. Cheap and cheerful!

    2. Yes of course, cheap can be fun but the quality of the fabrics and many of the items seemed shockingly poor so I thought I would mention it for people shopping online.

  7. Sort of like the Paris version of Walmart, IMO. lol. I still think they have some very nice things.
