The first year I was writing this blog, I did a post about a stunning sconce/wall lamp I’d spotted. It looked like an icicle on the wall. It was from Vaughan Designs, which is based in London.
Fast forward three years, and I receive an e-mail asking if I’d like to see some of their fabrics. Yes, please! While they are primarily known for their lighting, they have just added two collections of fabrics – Aegean and Oriental. The fabrics are all linen, which I adore, with hand- and machine-embroidery in silk or rayon. 
The collections are just gorgeous, as is everything I’ve seen from Vaughan. These fabrics would make the most stunning quilt! I just love them all. Here are some examples: 
As I was wandering around the site, I clicked on their Contracts page and found this eye candy awaiting me.

It’s not often you find a design company where you love everything they do, but for me, Vaughan is one of those!
Vaughan's London showroom at G1 Chelsea Harbour Design Centre displays our entire range in a realistic decorative setting. In most other European countries Vaughan is represented by agents or directly through interior design companies.

What a fresh take on linen! You can add my vote to the ranunculus. And aren't those yellow ranunculus in the next photo in the fabulous black vases of various shapes! Thanks for an inspiring post!
